BlackBerry: Delete All (SMS/Messages)

A friend gave me a tip about the BlackBerry that I always wanted to know: mass delete or delete all SMS or messages.

At the moment, my BlackBerry inbox has hundreds of messages and text messages, and deleting each one would be a daunting task; not to mention: time consuming. Believe me; I know because I've done it before.

Mass delete:

To mass delete messages, you can simply select multiple messages using the trackball and the SHIFT or CAPS button, pictured below:

Hold down the SHIFT/CAPS button and use the trackball to highlight the messages you want to delete. Deleting them should be child's play now. Just bring up the menu and select Delete.

Someone using the shift button on their computer to select multiple files would probably go: "Why didn't I think of that?"
