Canon Releases Digital Rebel XSi

imageAs if HP's announcement of the successor to the HP Pavilion tx1000 series was not enough, Canon has just released the successor to the Canon Digital Rebel XTi. The Canon Digital rebel XSi looks a bit sleeker than the XTi.

Some major features that contrasts it from the XTi:

  1. 12.2 megapixels
  2. 3" LCD
  3. Includes the new kit lens with image stabilization (Canon EF-S 18-55 mm IS)
  4. Now uses SD/SDHC memory cards
  5. Now uses LP-E5 batteries (higher capacity)
  6. Live View

tracy I have to confess I got the original digital rebel when it came out several years ago, and have not got a new camera sense. The original has been a real workhorse for me, and I have taken thousands of images (some even for money).
It is time to upgrade though, but I am not really into all the features on the xsi. I will check it out though, maybe it can win me over as my original did.
