HP Pavilion tx2000 Series

imageIt looks like HP has the follow-up of the tx1000 series ready. Shown here is the HP Pavilion tx2020eo, but I have the feeling the "eo" indicates it's not meant for the U.S. market.

What I find very useful is the addition of a FireWire (IEEE 1394) port. I would love to have that on my current tx1220us. It can also use an 8-cell battery, which is a slight improvement on the 6-cell maximum on the previous series.

Mike Thanks for sharing! I'm also going to buy such laptop, because my old one HP ZE4230 doesn't have firewire port.

Carlo What's odd is that HP doesn't mention FireWire in the specifications for the U.S. version of the tablet, but the page for the tx2020eo does.

Beena That must be expensive. But I feel like getting one. I just don't get the difference between an HP Pavillion and an HP Compaq Presario.
