Site Relaunch
Since I bought this domain in 2003, it's been sitting idle; my way of staying under the radar. I really didn't have a reason to maintain a website, and have been using it for dumping school-related stuff and some odd projects. I had the domain hosted on a UNIX based server with another provider, and just recently switched to Windows based hosting. I have some experience with ASP back in the early 2000s, but the only thing I can recall are the <% %> tags. I've only used ASP.NET since February 2007, but I've been working with C# for quite a while now, so it's not exactly a big hurdle. The transition from Apache to IIS is a bit of a problem though. One thing I miss is URL Rewrite. I didn't think it would be so hard to implement in IIS. Another is not being able to create additional FTP accounts, but I don't know if this is only specific to my host.
With this relaunch, I've implemented a custom blog engine and the MetaWeblog API to be used for posting with Windows Live Writer. I also plan on showcasing some photography from time to time. The top and bottom banners are some of what I've taken with my trusty old Canon PowerShot S50, and most recently my Canon Digital Rebel XTi (400D).
Expect content and functionality additions in the future.
